Thriving in times of adversity- blessing is in the covenant

Thriving in times of adversity – the power of covenant

Therefore they set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh supply cities, Pithom and Raamses. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were in dread of the children of Israel. (Exodus 1:11‭-‬12 NKJV)

Your growth and Increase does not depend on circumstances or the stock market index. It depends on covenant because the blessing is in the Covenant. It is complete and secure in Christ. The children of Israel thrived in Egypt, even though they were operating under God’s “Memorandum of Understanding” with Abraham (Covenant of Promise). How much more shall we thrive and blossom now that we are under the ratified and established covenant (Covenant of grace through faith)? God’s grace at the cross opened the Marketplace for business for us.

This COVID-19 pandemic is a type of affliction from the pit of hell, designed to paralyze humanity like what happened in Egypt then. We should not fear or curve in because our victory is complete in Christ – we are made righteous in Him

In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord , And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord . (Isaiah 54:14‭, ‬17 NKJV)

Oh yes, you are growing and multiplying. You are coming out stronger and ruling and reigning together with Christ. He is the God of much more. Amen

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:17 NKJV)
